Our client is the Piatek institute , a medical clinic located in Indianapolis, USA that wanted to automate the process of scheduling appointments with patients, answer questions about the clinic and the treatments, and automate the process of sending reminders to patients.
The first step was to create an AI agent that contained the specific knowledge about the clinic and the treatments. After that, we integrated in this agent tools that enabled the patient to schedule, reschedule, get information and cancel the appointments talking only with the AI agent.
The work also involved creating a dashboard for the clinic to manage the appointments, monitor the messages and answer the questions that the AI agent couldn't answer. Besides, the dashboard contained some automation workflows for marketing purposes.
The clinic successfully migrated from the old sms solution to the custom one and therefore it saved thousands of dollars per year in software costs. Also, the staff was now able to focus on more important tasks rather than answering the same questions over and over again.
